Acting Internship
Acting Internship in Orthopaedic Surgery
Course Number: ORT-851

The University of Kentucky, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery offers a 4 week Acting Internship for 4th year medical students. We participate in VSAS (Visiting Students Application System). Please see the University of Kentucky Visiting Students Program as well as our course syllabus (4th Year Internship Information) for more information. 

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, applications open March 21st, with applications to be accepted on a rolling basis. 
​Rotations start on May 29, 2022.

The 4 weeks is made up of rotations on the following services:
  • Sports Medicine
  • Pediatric Orthopaedics
  • Trauma
  • Total Joints/Spine
